Backstreet Boy Wants to Work with Q-Tip

The Backstreet Boys may be mostly known for their Top 40 hits, but the boy band also gets down with hip-hop.

Nick Carter, one quarter of the group, is professing his admiration for Q-Tip. “I love Q-Tip. He’s my favorite rapper, so I’d love to do a song with him one day,” Carter tells Rap-Up.com. “I know he did that song back in the day with Janet, ‘Got ’Til It’s Gone,’ and I loved his last album [The Renaissance]. I’m a big Q-Tip fan.”

Backstreet Boys back in Belfast

They are one of the biggest selling boy bands in the world, thanks to their clean-cut image and catchy pop songs, and in a few months time they will be here in Belfast.

It was around this time last year that the Florida four-piece, who have sold more than 76 million albums worldwide, dazzled audiences with their spectacular show.

Now Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell and AJ McLean will return to the Odyssey Arena in November as part of a European tour to promote their seventh studio album, This is Us, which is out in October.

Kristi Yamaguchi & Friends starring the Backstreet Boys

The Backstreet Boys will be the only special musical guests. They will perform about eight songs live that will be intertwined in the show and songs will be played during some skaters’ performances.
